Community Events Assistant - Volunteer 

• 1 – 2 Days per Week (flexible days and hours)
• 3 – 4 Months Period
• Based in East Melbourne with excellent public transport facilities

This voluntary position is a great opportunity for you to help transform the lives of the world’s poorest and most marginalised people by improving their access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. 

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and committed person to assist our Relationship Manager for 1- 2 days per week, flexible days and hours over a period of 3 to 4 months.  

The Organisation
WaterAid is an international NGO providing safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest people. We help local organisations establish low cost, sustainable projects using technology that can be locally managed.

The Role
The Community Events Assistant is responsible for engaging corporates into supporting upcoming WaterAid community events, and includes administrative duties such as database management and mailing event resources.

Person Specification
WaterAid is a highly motivating workplace and this position will be a rewarding experience for the right candidate.
