To achieve a world where even the world’s poorest people have access to clean, safe water and adequate sanitation will take all of us working together. By making a significant donation, you can be a part of helping WaterAid to make a real difference to the world’s poorest people.

Our philanthropy staff will work closely with you to help you advance your philanthropic goals, and to help find funding options that most interest you. What your major gift can do:

  • Contribute towards our work in Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea and Cambodia
  • Help us to develop new country programs in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Allow us to educate local people on the importance of good sanitation and hygiene practices
  • Provide access to clean, safe water and sanitation facilities in schools and communities

There are many ways you can help bring water and sanitation to the world’s poorest people, including making a personal gift, donating stock, or making a gift from a family trust or foundation. Gifts are tax-deductible and may be pledged over several years.

Recognising your gift
In addition to keeping you informed about the impact your gift is making, we'd be pleased to recognise your generosity in a variety of ways, and to discuss options with you. These could include:

  • The opportunity to visit our country programs and meet people who have benefited from WaterAid’s work
  • Invitations to our regular events
  • Acknowledging your gift in our Annual Report or other publications we produce
