Safe water has allowed Vida to care for her family and start a successful business.
Vida lives in Pobaga, Ghana, with her husband and two children. She makes dyed fabric to sell and support her family.
Before she had access to safe water close to her home, Vida and her children had to make many long trips to gather enough water, which they had to store at home. When Vida’s children got sick from this water she had to stop working to take them to hospital.
Now that they have safe water close to home, Vida can collect enough water to take care of her family and run a successful business.
Vida wants to help train other women in her village to be businesswomen too >
Vida has her own business in Pobaga, Bolgatanga, Ghana. She makes and sells tie dye and printed cloth to make a living and support her family. Without safe water, she would not be able to provide for her family.
