WaterAid and H&M Conscious Foundation
In February 2014 WaterAid announced its new global partnership with the H&M Conscious Foundation. The new partnership will bring safe water and sanitation to 250,000 school children. The partnership will deliver immediate and long term change for the school children, and will influence policies at a national and an international level.
The H&M Conscious Foundation is an independent non-profit global foundation which began in 2007 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of H&M. The foundation is the philanthropic arm complementing H&M’s sustainability work. Through its programs and initiatives, the H&M Conscious Foundation strives to make a positive impact on policy and in the everyday life of people living in the communities where H&M operates.
Building on WaterAid’s 12 year partnership with H&M this new global partnership with H&M Conscious Foundation signifies an incredible step, demonstrating H&M’s commitment to tackling WASH issues.
