Every two minutes a child under five dies from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. WaterAid is looking for a HR Assistant to play a key role (during maternity cover – 4 months) to take up responsibility to learn and handle all HR operations related to recruitment, induction, HR record keeping, HRMIS, staff insurances, leaves and attendance, staff trainings, clearance and final settlement of outgoing staff and HR periodic reporting and compliance requirements quite independently with minimal supervision needs. Main Responsibilities: Assist in Recruitment selection process start from job advertisement till the on boarding of employee Health insurance policy guidelines sharing with staff, claims processing, cheques received, maintaining a data base, reconciling it with company’s records Staff monthly attendance report, Time Sheets Ensuring that staff files are updated both in soft and hard form as per standard checklist and perform quarterly checks to ensure the completeness of documentation To be successful, you’ll need to have: Masters’ degree in Business Administration Minimum 2 years of experience with INGO’s/ development sector in similar role Sound knowledge of all HR functions Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; knowledge and experience of using HRMIS or similar software Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Fully committed to WaterAid’s vision, mission and values and a way of working that demonstrates this, with the ability to communicate this enthusiasm to others Please download the full job description here> We started because no NGO like us existed.
