2. Can I volunteer for WaterAid?

We are often looking for volunteers in the UK to help us in our offices or at events. Volunteering for a large charity like WaterAid is an invaluable experience and is an ideal way to get first hand knowledge of working in the sector.

3. Can I volunteer overseas?

We don't send volunteers overseas. Day to day project work is carried out by local organisations based in the countries where we work. These organisations mostly employ local staff who in turn work very closely with communities so that they are also actively involved in the planning, building and maintenance of their projects. This local participation is vital to ensure the sustainability of water and sanitation projects.
