Breaking taboos, laughing about loos
Despite the efforts made to date, only 34% of the population in Madagascar have access to sanitation.
The indignity and embarrassment surrounding sanitation makes it a difficult subject to broach. But using fun and interactive media such as puppet shows and dramas can be an effective and enjoyable way of breaking down taboos.
