WaterAid helps to organise South Asia Sanitation and Hygiene workshop


From 31 January to 2 February 2012 BRAC, WaterAid, WSSCC and IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre have organised a regional sanitation and hygiene practitioners’ workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh. - 2 February 2012

WaterAid signs grant agreement with SDC


WaterAid in Bangladesh has signed a grant agreement with SDC (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation) of amount Taka 316 million (equivalent to £2.71 million) for a 3 year rural WaSH project. - 30 November 2011

WaterAid signs MoU with Sida for a 5 year urban WASH project


WaterAid in Bangladesh has signed an agreement with Sida to assist the urban poor of Bangladesh in attaining their WaSH rights with a financial support of 450 million Bangladeshi Taka equivalent to Swedish Kronor 41 million (3.83 GBP approx) from Sida. - 23 November 2011
