WaterAid Bangladesh sends relief to Nepal earthquake victims

Some relief materials were sent at the initiative of WaterAid Bangladesh to help the affected people of devastating earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25, leaving four million affected across 22 districts.

Relief materials includes biscuits, dry food, medicines, ORS, blankets tarpaulins etc to help support the earthquake victims and rebuild their lives. Some of the aids were donated by the staffs of WaterAid Bangladesh and rest came through mobilising INGO forum. The Ambassador of Bangladesh in Nepal and Bangladesh Air Force helped to ship the reliefs to Nepal collected by WaterAid’s staff, their friends and families in Bangladesh.

WaterAid is not specialised in emergency response. However, we know it's crucial that people receives help at the time of their greatest needs.
