WaterAid Burkina Faso is made up of three core units that work closely together to share information and ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Programme.

Programme Support and Development Unit

The programme support and development unit manages the monitoring and evaluation of programme activities while working closely with local partner NGOs in Burkina Faso.

The unit is responsible for organisational development and provides support with the planning and implementation of programme activities. It also collects and collates periodic and special reports from partners and feeds these back to the London Office and other interested parties.

Advocacy and Communications Unit

The advocacy and communications unit is responsible for developing advocacy, research and communication within the programme. In the main, the unit works to influence policies that may be obstacles to poor people accessing water, sanitation and hygiene promotion services. Its helps partners identify advocacy issues in communities and design strategies to tackle them. The unit also raises the national and international profile of the Country Programme as well as developing WaterAid Burkina Faso as a learning organisation.

Finance and Administration Unit

This unit manages and controls general administration and the programme's  human, material and financial resources. It undertakes regular financial monitoring of partners and submits periodic financial reports to the London Office. The unit also provides the partners with capacity support for financial management issues.

Country Representative

The Country Representative is responsible for the administration and development of the Programme as a whole.
