WaterAid uses social media channels – primarily Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube – through which you can interact with us and receive feedback. You can also comment on blog posts on our website. We value this discussion, so please do leave comments, ask questions, like and share our content. We’re a friendly, tolerant community! To encourage and facilitate this, WaterAid’s digital team manage these channels for the benefit of all users. As a basis for mutual respect, we have created these community guidelines: Please stay on the right side of the law. Anything which condones or encourages unlawful activity, or incites hatred, must be avoided. This includes defamation and contempt of court. Please don't advertise your products or services, however relevant you may think they are. If there is genuine reason for doing so, please contact us first. Please don't spam us. If you want to say something, just say it once. If it's not relevant, please don't post it at all. Please don't be offensive or use swear words. Any comments which we deem to be offensive will be removed. Please don’t post personal details such as phone numbers or email addresses. In short, please remember to have respect for others and behave as you would like people to behave towards you. If anyone consistently fails to follow these guidelines, they may be blocked or removed. We aim to provide safe, friendly and useful social spaces to discuss water, sanitation and hygiene policy, practice and advocacy issues. If we are failing to do this, just let us know via [email protected]. We aim to respond to emails within two business days. You can also feed back to us via the relevant social channel. Blog content and comment WaterAid is not responsible for the content of any comments posted by visitors or guests. Responsibility belongs to the commenter alone. Blog comments are moderated, usually within one working day, before being published. We do not edit comments, but we reserve the right to remove posts that we believe contain inappropriate, obscene, defamatory, offensive or inflammatory material. To report a comment to us, email us at [email protected]. Please note, on weekends your comment may take up to 48 hours to go live. Thanks for your support and for getting involved.
