WaterAid's new country programmes

WaterAid has recently expanded operations from 17 to 27 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific Region.

The existing countries are:

Asia: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan
East Africa: Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda
Pacific Region: Papua New Guinea, Timor L’este
Southern Africa: Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia
West Africa: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria 

The new countries are:

East Africa: Kenya and Rwanda
Pacific Region: Laos
Southern Africa: Angola, Lesotho and Swaziland
West Africa: Liberia, Niger and Sierra Leone 
Central America: Nicaragua

WaterAid is also currently considering expansion to Cambodia, Indonesia, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu in the Pacific Region and Honduras, Peru and Ecuador in Central and South America.
