WaterAid's new country programmes

WaterAid has recently expanded operations from 17 to 26 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific Region.

The existing countries are:

Asia: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan
East Africa: Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda
Pacific Region: Papua New Guinea, Timor L’este
Southern Africa: Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia
West Africa: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria 

The new countries are:

East Africa: Kenya and Rwanda
Pacific Region: Laos
Southern Africa: Angola, Lesotho and Swaziland
West Africa: Liberia, Niger and Sierra Leone 

WaterAid is also currently considering expansion to Cambodia, Indonesia, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu in the Pacific Region and Nicaragua, Honduras, Peru and Ecuador in Central and South America.
