Ann Noon

Duties and role: to head up WaterAid's Media Team and coordinate all press and PR activity.
Experience: Ann has over a decade of experience of working as a press officer and media manager. Initially working in the travel and tourism industry for the Tunisian National Tourist Office and the French Government Tourist Office, she later moved across to the development sector to run Sightsavers International's media department. She started at WaterAid in April 2009.

Duties and role: lead on media work connected to fundraising and marketing activities, liaise with Southern Africa Region, and work with local media coordinators in London, Wales and the South.
Experience: Lisa has been in her current position since 2006, but has worked for WaterAid since 2002. Prior to this, she worked briefly for Freshwater Action Network (FAN). Lisa's previous experience includes four years with environmental charity BTCV, and she holds a business studies degree.

Duties and role: lead on media work connected to policy and campaigns.
Experience: Chloe joined WaterAid in January 2009. Prior to this she worked with Oxfam for three years and a year with Make Poverty History New Zealand. Chloe's media experience includes two years in television and three years as a freelance writer, including a stint as a fashion editor. Chloe holds a communications degree.

Duties and role: media work connected to fundraising and supporting all media work, liaising with the Asia Region and working with local media coordinators across the UK.
Experience: Mel trained as a journalist and gained experience at several regional papers before joining the BBC in their factual department. She then moved to ITV where she worked on a range of documentaries and a consumer affairs strand. She started work for WaterAid in 2008. Mel holds a degree in Journalism Studies.

Duties and role: supporting all media work, liaising with international offices and working with local media coordinators across the UK.
Experience: Brenda has held her current position since December 2009, but has worked for WaterAid on a freelance basis since 2008. Her media experience includes one year in food PR, one year of freelance media relations work and copy writing, and a publicity internship with Oxfam. Brenda graduated in 2006 with a degree in English Literature and Politics.

Duties and role: Media work connected to WaterAid’s corporate partnerships and regional fundraising events.
Experience: Rachel joined the WaterAid media team in January 2010. She previously worked as a PR Officer at Breakthrough Breast Cancer and has also worked as an intern in the media relations team at UNICEF UK. Rachel graduated with a degree in English in 2002 and worked at an exam board before starting her career in media relations.
Rachel is covering Lisa Martin's maternity leave.
