Charlotte Godber

Duties and role: lead on media work connected to policy and campaigns, including media support for the End Water Poverty campaign, liaise with West Africa Region, and work with local media coordinators in the North and Midlands.

Experience: started work with WaterAid in February 2006, with over two years previous experience with other NGOs including Comic Relief and freelance contracts with ActionAid and CAFOD. Charlotte holds a degree in English literature.

Duties and role: lead on media work connected to fundraising and marketing activities, liaise with Southern Africa Region, and work with local media coordinators in London, Wales and the South.

Experience:
Lisa has been in her current position since 2006, but has worked for WaterAid since 2002. Prior to this, she worked briefly for Freshwater Action Network (FAN). Lisa's previous experience includes four years with environmental charity BTCV, and she holds a business studies degree.

Duties and role: run the video unit, providing film support to the organisation and video material support to broadcasters. Set up the local media coordinator scheme, liaise with Pacific Region, establish core celebrity ambassadors.

Experience: Beth joined WaterAid in April 2006, and gained five years experience with Save the Children prior to this. Beth has also worked in television production, and holds a degree in video production.

 
Kate Whittaker

Duties and role: support the senior media officers on projects as required including leading on a number of projects each year. Leading on community promotion, liaising with Asia Region, working with Scottish and Northern Ireland local media coordinators.

Experience: started working for WaterAid in 2003 and joined the media team in 2005. Previous to this, Kate has over three years marketing experience working in theatres and the arts. Kate holds a degree in performing arts.

The London-based media team are supported by a dynamic team of media volunteers doted around the country. They can help publicise any WaterAid-related activities in your area.
