WaterAid's Bangladesh film competition

WaterAid is collaborating with Bangladeshi tv channel DeshTV in holding a short film contest for Bangladeshi film makers, both amateur and professional, under the theme ‘Water for life’.

The shortlisted films will be screened in early April 2010 at a film festival and will be aired on DeshTV. All genres are welcome, from animation, to documentary or fiction, as long as the films tell a story about water implications in the lives of Bangladeshi people.

There are no restrictions on what these films will focus on. Whether its people's struggles, achievements, feelings of joy or sorrow, this should prove for an interesting and rich selection of films for the upcoming festival.
