Programme Funding Manager – Governance and Transparency Fund

Based in Vauxhall, London

£36,562 - £40,030 

WaterAid has been awarded a £5million grant over five years from the Department for International Development's Governance and Transparency Fund. This presents a tremendous opportunity for WaterAid to strengthen its work with local partners working with our Country Programmes, and as part of the Freshwater Action Network, to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of water, sanitation and hygiene services delivered to poor people.

Working within the Programme Funding Unit (PFU), you will be responsible for managing this grant and working with colleagues overseas and in London as well as the donor's contract managers.

With significant experience in international development, you will have sound project management skills, coupled with experience of managing contracts and working with the donor community. A confident communicator, you will have strong presentation skills and be experienced in effectively establishing, managing and maintaining networks. The ability to travel is essential.
