Direct Marketing Officer – Supporter Development and Retention TeamBased in Vauxhall, London, £24,458 pa WaterAid’s Direct Marketing Programme raises approximately 60% of the organisation’s voluntary income. This comes primarily from individual donations, planned gifts and legacy bequests. The Supporter Development & Retention Team has exciting and ambitious plans to more than double income from individual supporters over the next five years. This is inline with WaterAid’s organisational strategy to reach 25 million people directly with access to water and sanitation by 2015, as well as a further 100 million people through influencing policies and practices of governments and service providers. You’ll use your proven direct marketing and project management skills, creative flair and ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders to produce excellent results-driven campaigns that inspire individuals to keep supporting WaterAid. Working within a busy team with a variety of online and offline activities, the successful candidate will help to deliver effective and accountable programmes that maximise long-term income growth for WaterAid. The role is responsible for project managing a variety of offline and online supporter development projects, working with internal and external stakeholders, preparing briefs, assessing quotes and managing project budgets, and collaborating effectively with our creative and telemarketing agencies. You will possess strong project management skills, organisational and team working skills, as well as experience of working in a similar direct marketing position. It will also be desirable to have experience of digital direct marketing.
