The need

In Mali, current national figures indicate that only 62% of the people have access to clean drinking water and only four percent of the population have access to adequate sanitation facilities.

How we work

WaterAid Mali implements programmes through partnerships with local organisations. These local partners have a great deal of knowledge about the people, culture, traditions, values, languages and area that make them best-placed to understand the needs and challenges where they work.

Where we work

WaterAid's head office is in the UK, with branches in Australia and USA. It carries out water, sanitation and hygiene work in 17 countries across Africa and Asia.
