Call for expressions of interest – post-2015 advocacy evaluation

Two projects aim to evaluate WaterAid's and the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector's role in the post-2015 process.

WaterAid UK is seeking a consultant (or team of consultants) to undertake two evaluations of the WASH sector’s role in influencing the post-2015 process, which resulted in the adoption of the Global Goals at the UN in September 2015.

Evaluation one

Evaluation one focuses on the function of WaterAid's internal ways of working around the delivery of advocacy activities related to the post-2015 process.

The findings of this evaluation will feed into the second phase of the evaluation.

This evaluation must be completed by 17 April 2016.

Evaluation two

Evaluation two focuses on the impact of the WASH sector's joint advocacy activities in influencing the post-2015 process.

WaterAid will be the project lead and contact point for this evaluation. WHO / UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation (JMP) and the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) will also contribute a focal point to the management team overseeing the consultant(s), and will have shared responsibilities outlined in the terms of reference.

This evaluation must be completed by 19 June 2016.

Applications close at 9am on 22 February 2016.

Following an initial shortlisting, selected consultants will be asked to take part in a Skype or video interview.

The successful candidate will then be invited to an induction meeting (date and location to be confirmed).
