H&M gift cards support clean water

WaterAid partners with H&M to give holiday shoppers the chance to support clean water in Bangladesh.

Thanks to a new campaign launched by WaterAid and clothing company H&M, holiday shoppers now have the opportunity to make a real difference for families in Bangladesh currently living without clean water and toilets.

With the new H&M charitable gift card, it's easy to give the gift of clean water this Christmas!

For every £10 added to a card, the H&M Conscious Foundation will make a donation to WaterAid's work helping poor communities in Bangladesh gain long-term access to life's most basic needs: clean water, sanitation and good hygiene.

H&M has been an active supporter of WaterAid since 2002, raising over £2.7 million for our water and sanitation projects in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. By supporting WaterAid through the holiday gift card campaign this year, the H&M Conscious Foundation is striving for a bigger donation than it has ever given before.

"I am delighted that this holiday season H&M and their customers will once again be helping WaterAid transform the lives of thousands of the world's poorest people through safe water, sanitation and hygiene. Thanks to these donations we have been able to help 180,000 people to take the first steps out of poverty”, says Barbara Frost, WaterAid's Chief Executive.
