New advice forum responds to Ebola crisis

22 Oct 2014

A group of organisations including the Global WASH Cluster (GWC) and Médecins Sans Frontières is using a new online question and answer forum to answer technical questions as part of the global response to the Ebola crisis.

The Knowledge Point platform enables WASH development and humanitarian specialists to share questions and answers to specific problems related to water, sanitation and hygiene. WaterAid has helped design and develop the platform over the past two years, alongside Practical Action, RedR UK, EngineerAid, WASHCost and IRC.

The Global WASH Cluster, a humanitarian response partnership of 32 NGOs, government agencies and UN agencies (including UNICEF and WHO) has assigned a dedicated technical group which aims to provide real-time answers and guidelines to those fighting the epidemic in the worst affected countries.
