The Last Taboo: Research on menstrual hygiene management in the Pacific 29 Aug 2017 | WaterAid

Many women in the Pacific struggle to manage their menstruation effectively, hygienically and with dignity. Along with the Burnet Institute and the International Women’s Development Agency, WaterAid Australia has undertaken the first multi-country study of menstrual hygiene in the Pacific. The research reports share detailed findings of the challenges women and girls face, as well as recommendations for potential solutions.

Since its launch, our country programmes have been working hard to translate our Global Strategy into their own work. These strategies describe how programmes hope to make change in their respective countries and explain how they will help WaterAid deliver its Global Strategy.
