Speaking out for WaterAid

Speaking out for WaterAid

Over the last couple of years, WaterAid has had an overwhelming response from volunteers wishing to be trained as volunteer speakers. We have been training around 100 new speakers a year, and therefore have over 400 speakers across the country. They regularly speak to a variety of community groups about WaterAid’s work to enable some of the poorest people gain access to safe water and sanitation.

If you are interested in having a speaker visit your local organisation, please complete the Request a WaterAid speaker online form

Unfortunately, due to great response, all training places for the 2008 dates are now fully booked and we will no longer be accepting applications for volunteer speakers until further notice. We will be concentrating our efforts on improving speaker resources and meeting the needs of our current 400 trained speakers.

There are, however, a number of other ways you can get involved in supporting WaterAid's work, such as becoming a campaigner, joining a local campaigns group or supporting our End Water Poverty campaign. For further information please visit the Campaigns section of our site.
