Annual report

The annual report gives a national assessment of the year including overviews of the water, sanitation and hygiene sector, service delivery projects and of advocacy and policy change. The review also provides some updates on our partners and looks at programme policy issues.

Overall, WaterAid in Uganda made significant achievements in the year 2005/6 programme and department plans. 

However, the reporting year was marked by external issues that directly affected our programme implementation and will have implications for our future work in Uganda: the elections, the passing of a new NGO bill, the continuing drought and ongoing insecurity in the north and northeast.
