Clean water is essential for life, but over a billion people in the world do not have it. In combination with a lack of sanitation this results in over two million people dying from water-related diseases every year.

We are currently helping 750,000 people a year gain access to water and over a million to sanitation - but we need your ongoing support to help even more.

Just £2 a month for a year is all it could cost to help give a family safe, clean water for life.

We will put your gift to work straight away to help some of the millions of people who live without access to safe drinking water or adequate sanitation.

• £5 a month over a year could pay for one pit latrine in Mali.

• £15 a month over a year could rehabilitate a borehole with a pump that could provide water for up to 250 people in Zambia.

• £25 a month over a year could pay for a locally manufactured rope pump and provide eleven repair kits including tools and spares in Mozambique.

• £50 a month over a year covers the cost of twelve simple handpumps to serve 60 households in Nepal.
