In these troubling economic times, the world's poorest people continue to suffer from a daily emergency. Lack of clean water and nowhere safe to go to the toilet means every single day 5,000 children die.

WaterAid believes this emergency must stop and we're counting on our supporters' compassion and humanity to help us continue to grow the number of communities we can reach in 2009.

We promise that any gift you give will be greatly valued and put to good use – every penny counts.

Thank you in anticipation of your support,

I would like to donate by credit or debit card:

I would like to make a regular monthly donation by Direct Debit*
  • £5 a month could pay for enough cement to protect a spring benefiting 300 people in Uganda
  • £10 a month could pay for the cement and provide a mason to work with a community in Malawi to line a well and fit a handpump
Other donation methods
Regular giving goes a long way
  • £2 a month, over a year, is as little as it could cost to help give a person safe, clean water for life.

  • £5 a month, over a year, could pay for one pit latrine for two households in Mali.

  • £15 a month, over a year, could rehabilitate a borehole with a pump - providing water for up to 250 people in Zambia.
* Donating regularly to us by Direct Debit saves administration costs and, because we know how much money is coming in, enables us to plan our work more effectively.

Please notify us if you change address.
