People around the world are still missing out on safe, clean water

When we visited central Nigeria, Sa'a and her community had no access to safe water, putting them at risk of illness and disease.

Sa'a told us:

"I have to collect water three times a day for my family. It is my duty to make sure the container for water at home isn't empty."

Thanks to supporters like you, people like Sa'a have new hope. With a safe water source, latrines and improved hygiene, Sa'a's community can look forward to a better future.

Unfortunately, for every community WaterAid reaches, others are still missing out.

  • Missing out on safe, clean water
Your gift will mean more people can build wells to provide their whole community with safe, clean water.

  • Missing out on sanitation and improved hygiene
By providing improved hygiene and sanitation, people are healthier.

  • Missing out on school
Communities with safe, clean water and sanitation can attract a teacher, giving children the opportunity of an education and a better future.

Please give a gift today so we can reach more communities missing out on safe water, sanitation and improved hygiene.
