Our supporters' words

Here are some of our supporters who have been kind enough to let us know that they have left a gift in their Will to WaterAid.

I know that the value of WaterAid lies in the steady, long-term support of programmes in communities around the world. That need will go on longer than I can and so I am leaving a legacy to maintain that effort when I won't be around to help out. – Steve Oxtoby

When it came to writing our wills after we got married, several charities stood out. Of the two of us, my wife has more of a social conscience and has a Direct Debit to a number of charities, including WaterAid. She's lived in Ghana and experienced first hand when travelling around the country how important safe water is. After mentioning our family, we decided to leave a residuary gift to WaterAid in both our wills. It's a fantastic charity and we think everyone should have clean water and a toilet. – Neil Clements

Water is an absolute essential. We all need it. A gift in my will, however small, contributes to WaterAid's resources - turning my pounds into clean, safe water for people I shall never know. So they, too, will have this basic necessity for life. – Patricia McBeth
