Leave a legacy for future generations
Make an impact far into the future
Including WaterAid in your will could be the most amazing gift you ever give. Safe, clean water is one of life's essentials. When it is combined with sanitation and hygiene education, it releases people from the cycle of poverty and disease, forever.
What are the options?
There are three main types of legacies. You can give a share of your estate, a specific sum of money or a specific item. Of these gifts, a share of an estate (residuary legacy) is very important to us as it usually maintains or increases value over time.

Steve Oxtoby, a WaterAid supporter

"I would like nothing more than for WaterAid to have completed its work in my lifetime.
"However, I know that the value of WaterAid lies in the steady, long-term support of programmes in communities around the world.
"That need will go on longer than I can and so I am leaving a legacy to maintain that effort when I won't be around to help out."
