Setting up Payroll Giving

Step 1: To set up a Give As You Earn Scheme, all you need to do is register with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA) approved by the Inland Revenue. These are listed on the Inland Revenue website.

Step 2: Once you are registered, all you need to do is send on payroll giving forms you receive from your employees to your PGA and they will do the rest. The PGA is responsible for adding the tax onto a donor's gift and transferring the total sum to the donor's nominated charity.
