Hawa – a life changed by safe water

When we first met Hawa she told us:

We have lost our loved ones in the war, and coming back home we are losing our loved ones again to these water diseases
Below you can see some more photos of the river Hawa and others from her village used to have to collect water from, and how filthy this water was. They now have a handpump providing safe, clean water to those in the village - you can see just how much has changed for Hawa and her granddaughter, Isattu in the photos below.
