Your gift could provide Carla and her family with safe, easily accessible water all year round.

Carla lives with her daughter Caricia in the remote, coastal community of Wawa Bar in Nicaragua.

With no access to clean, safe water, Carla and her family have to dig into the sandy ground to find water, which is dirty and salty, causing health problems like dehydration and kidney failure.

In the wet season, the ground floods and the water becomes contaminated, which can cause severe diarrhoea and vomiting.

Our Nicaragua team are planning work with local partners to build toilets to safely manage waste, and rainwater harvesting tanks to catch rainwater and store it safely for use throughout the year.
