We're working with H&M to transform lives in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, through access to clean water and safe toilets.

Since 2002, H&M has raised over £3.5million for WaterAid, enabling more than 230,000 people to gain long-term access to safe water, clean toilets and better hygiene.

H&M for Water Collection

H&M has donated 25% of all sales from their H&M for Water Collection – which was most recently fronted by Beyonce – to WaterAid.

With their support, we were able to provide access to clean water and safe toilets to some of the world's poorest communities, enabling women to go to work and giving their children the time and freedom to go to school.

Together, we've helped to improve hygiene practices, creating sustained behaviour change. And we made sure parents no longer had to spend the majority of their income on doctors' fees, giving them and their families a greater chance of living healthier, more profitable lives.

Creating a sustainable future

In 2013, H&M gave shoppers the chance to make a real difference for families living without safe water and clean toilets. For every £10 added to an H&M gift card over Christmas, the H&M Conscious Foundation made a donation to WaterAid to help fund our work in communities in Bangladesh.

The H&M Conscious Foundation is an independent foundation that supports H&M's sustainability work. Find out more about the H&M Conscious Foundation >
