Our new partnership with clean and green beauty brand Soaper Duper will help bring safe water and improved hygiene to some of the world's poorest communities.

Founder of global brands such as FitFlop and Soap and Glory, entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore has launched her latest brand, Soaper Duper, which is not only kind to your skin but ecologically-friendly too.

The new bath and body range is largely produced from natural ingredients – free from parabens, phthalates and microbeads – and packaging is made from recycled plastic.

Soaper Duper believes soap can change everything. And it can: simply washing hands with soap can reduce the number of diarrhoea cases by up to 47%, but many people are not aware of the link between hygiene and health.

Every year, diarrhaoea kills 315,000 children under-five around the world – that's almost 900 children per day.

The three-year partnership hopes to raise £150,000 to help WaterAid reach thousands of people in some of the world's poorest communities with safe water and sanitation and to promote good hygiene practice.

Together we'll be able to transform the lives of more people like Crizonia and Dircia with handwashing, who have just had a new tap stand installed in their village in Timor-Leste.

"We like the water," says Crizonia. "Now we can wash our hands and clothes, shower and cook with safe water."
