South West Water has been supporting WaterAid for more than 20 years, helping to transform the lives of people around the world with access to clean water, safe toilets and hygiene.

South West Water and Zambia

After a WaterAid representative visited Zambia on a WaterAid supporters’ trip, South West Water decided to focus their fundraising on the Monze Project in Zambia. £50,000 goes directly to the project and the employees get regular updates.

Fun and fundraising for WaterAid

South West Water staff and customers have raised more than £4 million for WaterAid through leaflets in customer bills and fundraising activities including an annual golf day, promotion at Chagstock Festival and an annual concert in collaboration with Exeter School. They also spearhead the Give an Hour campaign, which encourages staff to donate an hour’s salary around World Water Day.
