WaterAid Anchor tattoo design for BestivalThanks people of Bestival for supporting our Pump up the volume campaign in your thousands!

Thanks too for visiting our marquee - aka The Good Ship WaterAid - in the Grassy Hill area and picking up a cup of water or an exclusive tattoo, and for learning more about WaterAid, our campaign, and our work. We really appreciate that you took the time to come and say hi!

Finally, thanks if you were brave enough to have your photo taken with some awesome props and outfits from our dressing up box. We never knew the Poo costume would be so popular! We hope you like your photo - you can view them (and they are amazing!) on our Facebook page here >

This was our second year at Bestival; we had a fantastic time talking to people about water and sanitation, and we hope to be back for more next time around.

Festival founder Rob da Bank said:

"We're thrilled to have WaterAid as part of the festival. It makes perfect sense, as getting the water and sanitation facilities right at a festival are absolutely paramount, and this is what WaterAid is all about."

Thanks Rob!

Pump up the volume logoPlease sign our petition calling for world leaders to commit to safe water and sanitation for everyone, everywhere by 2030.

World leaders will be meeting in New York in September 2013 at the UN General Assembly to start the process of deciding what will replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). We want to take at least 40,000 signatures to that meeting, to ensure that together our voice is heard.

For the first time in history, we know a world where everyone, everywhere has safe water and sanitation is within reach. We know that if governments pull together as they've shown they can do, our vision can be achieved by 2030.

Why water and sanitation?

Because water changes everything. A world where everyone, everywhere has clean water and safe sanitation would be healthier, better nourished, better educated, more equal, sustainable and productive.

It's time to Pump up the volume on water and sanitation! Sign the petition today >
