Ben Lawers Superchallenge - Difficult
When it was discovered that Ben Lawers was actually 17ft off the 4,000 mark, a group of 20 local men decided to build a large cairn on the summit to rectify the issue. The cairn is no longer there but it is still a popular peak. Well known for it abundance of rare alpine plants, Ben Lawyers is regarded as one of the richest areas for alpine flora in the UK. It lies to the north side of Loch Tay, and is the highest point of a long ridge that includes seven Munros.
