This World Toilet Day, 19 November, you helped everyone overcome their embarrassment and talk about toilets, and how they save lives.

We Brits love a bit of toilet humour. And this World Toilet Day, we had the perfect reason to chuckle yourself silly: raising money for the 2.3 billion people around the world without access to a safe toilet.

From hosting your own Comedy Night In to enjoying some wee one-liners at a Comedy Night Out, or simply donating a pound every time you spend a penny, you pulled out all the stops to help our mission to get the nation talking toilets.

All the money you raised from your World Toilet Day fundraising will give mums and babies in the world's poorest communities the best start in life, simply through clean water, toilets and hygiene. Not only that, but every £1 you raised before 10 February 2016 will be doubled by the UK Government as part of our Deliver Life appeal >

Live at the Apolloo

To make sure commuters didn’t have their usual bog-standard journey to work this World Toilet Day, we treated Londoners to some ‘sit-down’ comedy from a portaloo stage at Waterloo station.
