WaterAid is looking for five finance professionals to join us and play vital roles in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities. Head of Corporate Finance The Head of Corporate Finance will lead a team of 14 people in the Corporate Finance Team. The person in this role will also deputise for the director of finance and will be given the opportunity to develop their skills at the level of a director of finance. Closing date for applications: 12 November 2014 UK Finance Team Manager This is a senior leadership position within the Finance Team at WaterAid, and will lead the UK Finance Team which includes the UK Financial Management Accountants and the UK Finance Services Team. The UK Finance Team Manager will also ensure that the finance strategy and policy supporting the Global Strategy is implemented across WaterAid’s UK operations. Closing date for applications: 12 November 2014 Finance Services Manager This role will manage the financial controls and processes relating to UK-based activities. The post-holder will develop and maintain an effective and efficient financial control environment in the UK, and will ensure that good practice in financial accounting is adhered to. Closing date for applications: 5 November 2014 Financial Planning Analyst The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for financial planning and forecasting processes to operate across WaterAid UK and WaterAid international. Working closely with the Head of Corporate Finance and the Corporate Management Accountant, the Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for developing, rolling out and coordinating financial planning and forecasting processes. In addition, the post-holder will analyse the information provided by these processes, to support decision making and ensure cross-organisational efficiency and effectiveness from long-term strategic projections to short-term operational decision support. Closing date for applications: 5 November 2014 International Management Accountant – Two-year fixed-term contract This role will focus on providing finance capacity support to country programmes on scaling up, taking on new complex streams of funding and other initiatives considered to be surge activities for a country programme. This role will also contribute to building the financial management capacity of senior teams across the organisation to ensure effective financial management is in place for opportunities to be taken while key financial risks are managed appropriately.
