Volunteer at a WaterAid event

WaterAid is involved in a wide range of exciting fundraising events that we'd love you to be involved in! We need your help to support our participants and create a huge WaterAid presence.

From marshaling to cheering, collecting donations to putting up signs and banners, we always need extra pairs of hands to ensure our events go smoothly – there's always something to do!

Current opportunities:

  • Brighton Half Marathon cheerer and water point volunteer: Sunday 26 February 2017, 9:00-13:00

To apply to volunteer at one of our events, please drop us a line events@wateraid.org to see what opportunities we have.

University society or RAG volunteering

If you're part of your university RAG society, there are loads of ways to get involved – whether it's organising a RAG raid, picking us as your charity of the year or helping out at an event.

You could also join or set up a WaterAid society on campus. This is both rewarding and fun, and is a great to meet new people, enhance your CV and transform the lives of some of the world's poorest people.

For more information, please contact us at universities@wateraid.org.

Volunteering overseas

As WaterAid's work involves helping local organisations and community groups to plan, implement and maintain their own water and sanitation projects, we are unable to offer volunteer opportunities for overseas placements.

For information on volunteering overseas, you may like to try Raleigh International or VSO.
