This Mother's Day say 'thanks mum' in a special way

Giving your mum a lifesaving gift this Mother's Day could mean the world to her and thousands of mother's like her.

For just £31 you could buy a puppet show which could teach 300 parents and children about good hygiene in a fun and informative way. These practices could help save many children's lives and save mothers from the worry of caring for a child who's suffering from diarrhoea.

This is just one of the amazing Lifesaving Gifts available that empower women and keep children safe. With gifts from £9, there's something to please every mum this Mother's Day. But be sure to order soon to ensure your gift arrives in time, though you can always order an e-card instead!

Open a J.P. Morgan ISA and £40 will be donated to WaterAid!

In addition to this, an extra £15 will be donated if an ISA is opened during ISA season via the WaterAid website

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is extending its partnership with WaterAid, donating money for every J.P. Morgan Individual Savings Account (ISA) opened between the end of January and the end of April 2013.

The 'ISA season' tends to be the busiest time of year for account opening, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management will donate £15 for ISAs opened directly with J.P. Morgan by phone, post or online. In addition, J.P. Morgan is donating £40 for every brand new account opened through the WaterAid website.

The money raised through the J.P. Morgan Asset Management ISA partnership will go toward projects such as training community members to maintain their village water supplies, or paying for a school sanitation block.

A donation of £15 – the amount J.P. Morgan Asset Management will give for ISAs opened through its own website, by post or by telephone – can enable WaterAid to give one person access to safe, clean drinking water.

It’s so easy to buy and sell items on eBay and support WaterAid!

If you have items to sell on eBay then why not donate some of the income you receive to WaterAid?

eBay make it really easy through their eBay for Charity programme. You can choose to donate anything between 10 - 100% of your final selling price, helping some of the world's poorest people gain access to clean water and sanitation.

  • £28,000 is raised on eBay for Charity every day
  • An eBay for Charity item sells every minute

If you already sell items on eBay, or would like to, it's easy to donate a percentage of the final sale price to WaterAid. Just follow these simple instructions:

  1. Go to the Sell page on eBay for Charities page and choose 'Start selling now'.
  2. Write a description of your item and make sure you choose 'Advanced Sell', eBay will then ask you to sign into My eBay. You will need to register if you don't already have an eBay account.
  3. Complete the required fields to sell your item. When you reach the charity box, just below where you set your price, select WaterAid from the drop-down menu. This will automatically change your listing to an eBay for Charity listing and display the charity bow:
  4. Select a percentage of the sale you would like to donate to WaterAid. You can donate anything from 10 - 100%
  5. Complete the rest of the listing and submit your sale. It's as easy as that!
