By entering our Christmas Raffle, you’re playing a huge part in putting a smile on the face of children like five-year-old Obse in Ethopia (pictured above), by helping to provide them with clean, safe water.

When children and their families have access to clean, safe water to drink and wash with, they are no longer at risk of potentially fatal diseases like diarrhoea and cholera.

How to take part:

The raffle will run from 4 October to 7 December and we’ll announce the winners on 14 December.

And if you enter within 14 days, you’ll be in with a chance of winning one of our brand new ‘Fast Entry’ prizes – a £25 M&S voucher!

Raffle rules

Promoter of the raffle: Jon Eserin, WaterAid, 47-49 Durham Street, London SE11 5JD.

The WaterAid Christmas Raffle is open to all UK residents except employees of WaterAid, agencies and their staff connected with the production of the raffle, as well as those living in the same households.

The closing date is 7 December 2016. Late entries will be treated as donations.

The draw will take place on 14 December 2016. Ticket price is £1 each.

The first prize is £5,000 cash. The second prize is £1,000 cash. The third prize is £500 cash. There are 10 runner-up prizes of a Christmas hamper.

Please return any unsold tickets. Winners of prizes will be notified by post or telephone within 28 days of the draw date.

Details of the winners and prizes awarded will be sent on request to anyone who supplies a stamped self-addressed envelope.

WaterAid reserves the right to use the name(s) of the winner(s) in an abbreviated form and a photograph in any future mailings or promotional material.

No ticket is to be sold to or by any person in the street. Tickets may not be bought or sold by anyone under the age of 16. Any person found to be under 16 years of age automatically forfeits the right to any prize.

WaterAid will accept no responsibility for lost or damaged entries.

By purchasing raffle tickets and thus participating in the draw, acceptance of these rules is implied and it will be assumed entrants have read and understood all terms and conditions.
