A pub quiz can raise hundreds of pounds. By raising just £150 you could provide 10 people with safe water for life. And have a great night!
Here are some tips to help you have a great night!

  • Plan well in advance - it's more fun when you're fully prepared and can invite people with at least a month's notice
  • Choose a theme - you can find great questions by searching online. Or get in touch and we can help
  • Approach a local venue and ask if you can use it for free - many pubs and church halls will let you have a venue mid-week
  • Print fliers about the event - you can often get free printing if you offer the printers the chance to add their logo to your flyer
  • Publicise your event locally – write a press release and send it to your local paper
  • Promote it online – you can email your friends, invite them to an event on Facebook and tweet about it regularly
  • Set up a fundraising page to make it easy for people to donate
  • Add a a watery twist - included a water-themed song round in your quiz. Think Bridge over Troubled Water, Smoke on the Water, Barbie Girl by Aqua, anything by Wet Wet Wet …
  • Hold a raffle on the night to raise some extra money - you can ask local businesses to donate the prizes
  • Make sure you have a microphone so that everyone can hear you on the night
  • Remember to thank everyone afterwards, let them know what you raised and how the money will transform lives
We can help with your quiz night, so do feel free to get in touch. And good luck!
