Find out how WaterAid got hands on at the Labour and Conservative Party conferences on our slideshow

Thank you for encouraging your MP to hear more about the global water and sanitation crisis during the Party Conference season in September.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

WaterAid got hands on at both the Labour and Conservative Party Conferences. To support the calls of the End Water Poverty campaign WaterAid, together with fellow End Water Poverty members UNICEF and Tearfund, held a fringe meeting at the Labour Party Conference in Manchester. The event entitled 'The sanitation crisis - the silent killer' happened just two days ahead of the United Nations High-Level Event on the Millennium Development Goals.

At the Conservative Party Conference WaterAid's Director of Policy and Campaigns, Margaret Batty, was on the panel at the New Statesman fringe event 'What What price clean water? The global challenge'. Margaret discussed the global water and sanitation crisis with other panel members Anne McIntosh MP and Graeme Sims, United Utilities.
