Today WaterAid hand-delivered a giant Happy Loo Year card to UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown to remind him to prioritise sanitation and water as his new year's resolootion.

The card, which is signed by hundreds of WaterAid supporters, features a colourful assortment of pictures collected in our Loo've been framed campaign.

Rotarians, soroptimists, animals, a Mr T lookalike, and even a man dressed in an orange all-in-one Lycra suit all posed for the camera with their loo and their personal message to the Prime Minister.

"We want Gordon Brown to talk toilets in the run-up to the first Annual High-Level Meeting for Sanitation and Water in April 2010," said Rhian Lewis, Campaigns Officer.

"This event is really important because politicians from across the globe will be gathering to discuss what they need to do to reverse the water and sanitation crisis. It's vital that the UK government participate in this meeting and send along a senior figure to act as a sanitation champion."

Chloe Irvine, Press Officer, added: "On the day that Gordon Brown launched Labour's Global Poverty Promise, it was great to remind him of the importance water and sanitation must play in the UK's efforts to reduce poverty worldwide."

Why not search the Loo've been framed gallery and spot your favourite photo?
