Do you have a bit more time to spare? Perhaps you are looking for a new way to get involved in your community? WaterAid's local campaign groups may be just the thing for you.

Local campaign groups choose to support and promote WaterAid campaign actions across the country in a number of ways. This may include:

  • Collecting signatures at events
  • Signing petitions
  • Visiting MPs
  • Attending marches or rallies

Local campaigning is fun and increases our overall impact. We currently have established campaigns groups in London, Leeds, Manchester Bristol, Brighton and Edinburgh. We also have a  newly emerging group in Milton Keynes.

Groups tend to meet once a month or every two months in a relaxed and informal setting. Each group has a nominated contact who plans the meeting location. Being part of the group is simple! You don't have to be an expert in water and sanitation issues, we are just looking for people who are keen to make a difference.

If you are interested in joining one of our campaign groups or forming a new group within your local area please get in touch
