Amateur dramatics
Many amateur dramatic societies dedicate one night of their production as a charity performance, or give a share of the ticket price as a charitable donation. What better way to have an enjoyable night out at the theatre and help change lives at the save time?
For example, in the millennium year the Beaconsfield Operatic Society performed a show and split the proceeds between four different charities, and raised over £1000 for WaterAid.
As well as supporting groups by providing publicity materials and posters we will help to bring your work to a new audience by promoting your show to our supporters through our website.
Why not make a link by performing a watery themed play such as Water Babies or Dames at Sea, or if you are looking for a bit of Christmas cheer you could try our brand new, specially commissioned pantomime Aladdin and The Magic Bucket.
WaterAid is keen to hear from Amateur Dramatics Societies interested in raising funds for our work. If you would like to know more about the pantomime or want to get involved contact us on 020 7793 4563 or email us at community@wateraid.org.
