Inner Wheel Clubs
WaterAid has long enjoyed the support of numerous Inner Wheel clubs.
In fact, since 1984 an estimated 20,000 people have benefited from Inner Wheel clubs' generosity towards WaterAid's work.
This year all Inner Wheel donations are being channelled to support WaterAid projects in Tanzania.
Support WaterAid with your District!
For the second time in three years, Inner Wheel District 12 has chosen to support WaterAid as an International Project.

The District held an International Rally in November, full of Christmas gifts, prizes and some fundraising raffles! Over £4000 was raised for WaterAid's work in Tanzania just in the first half of the year alone.
There are so many fun, exciting and social ways to support WaterAid with your Club or with your District. If you are the incoming Overseas Chairman for your District or Club and would like some more information to prepare you for 2007/08, call Sarina on 020 7793 4550.

Personal perspective

Thanks to the WaterAid project Rosa no longer has to collect her water from this unsafe source.
"Life before clean water was horrendous. We spent all our time collecting water from traditional wells around the area and we were always sick with eye and skin problems and constant diarrhoea.
"Our children didn't used to go to school as they had to spend their time fetching water.
"Now we are so much happier because we have a clean source of water close to home and we don't get the diseases we used to.
We now have more time to do useful things like making pots, collecting firewood and teaching our children useful things."
