Not having clean water and sanitation makes life for children in the developing world very difficult.

Children, particularly girls, often do not have time to attend school because they are walking for up to seven hours a day to fetch water, and many suffer from water related illnesses.

These problems are also faced by teachers, affecting their ability to work and even resulting in temporary closures of schools. 

Your school can help some of the world's poorest people by wearing what you choose for taps and loos!
