"Since Sing for Water began, our collective efforts have raised an amazing £260,000 for WaterAid's work. That is a fantastic achievement."
Helen Chadwick, founder of Sing for Water
Six years ago composer and singer Helen Chadwick, inspired by the power of song, initiated the first Sing for Water event at the Thames Festival in London.
Since then, Sing for Water has gone from strength to strength as community choirs and performance groups around the UK have been inspired to organise their own events.
You, your choir or your singing group can join a Sing for Water event. You could also set up a brand new one in your local community. Get sponsored and help some of the world's poorest people gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
