University or college is a great place to get involved with WaterAid. As well as having a good time and meeting people, you'll be making your CV stand out and helping change lives.

Ways to get involved

Donate to WaterAid

Become a WaterAid Student Ambassador

A great addition to any graduate CV! Help us transform lives while gaining skills in fundraising, marketing and event management, as well as a Career Development Award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

RAG fundraising

Whether you want to put on an event or do street collections, RAG fundraising is a fantastic way to have a large impact on WaterAid's work.

Take part in the Big National Ceilidh

Dance for WaterAid! Either organise a Ceilidh (folk dance) or join an existing one near you.

Speak for WaterAid

Help spread the word and educate people about the issues surrounding water and sanitation by becoming a WaterAid volunteer speaker.

Walk for Water

Organise a sponsored walk like the University of Edinburgh (pictured), raising awareness of the distances some children walk for water every day, while raising vital funds for WaterAid.

Campaign

Write to your MP, sign a petition, raise awareness of water and sanitation issues.

Any other ideas? Please let us know and we will provide support and resources where possible to help make your idea a success!
